PROBLEM INSTALLING SCOM 2022

I recently experienced an unusal  error installing SCOM 2022, this happens to be the pre-requisites of ASP .NET 3.5.

As I was installing the pre-requisites got passed during the Installer 

 

The error shows that the Pre-requisites not installed properly which didnt effect the earlier Roles of SCOM: Management server & Operations Console.

The above error you will get it only when you try to install Web Console.

I was able to find "HTTP Activation service role" easily, but ASP.NET 3.5 was little tricky, I was not able to install mounting Windows 2019 server ISO.

I then downloaded the evaluation edition of Windows 2022 ISO, as below:

SERVER_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us

Use the the path of this file with the correct ISO drive, and thats it the issue got resolved.
